How to select a cap for an aseptic carton and applicator
Match the carton, material opening, consumer opening action and applicator before requesting a cap sample.

These references allow a technical team to review the proposed combination. Carton capacity alone is insufficient: packages of the same volume can have different opening locations, membrane constructions or application arrangements.
Separate opening action from application technology
“One-step” and “two-step” describe what the consumer does when first opening the pack. They do not describe how many parts the cap contains or how it is attached. See the opening-action comparison.
A pre-laminated hole is a prepared opening in paperboard covered by laminate layers. The closure must work with that opening and membrane. Read the PLH explanation before assuming a cap matches a hole by size alone.
The equipment question is separate again. A separately applied closure and a directly moulded opening system require different reviews; see post-applied caps and DIMC.
Use the current model consistently
Shengli Pak uses SLAPKCap model names in its current portfolio. SLAPKCap30W and SLAPKCap30 are distinct model references; do not shorten both to “30 cap”. SLAPKCap27 and SLAPKCap27T should likewise remain distinct in enquiries, quotations and sample labels.
SLAPKCapKMD is the current designation used in the portfolio. If replacing a previously supplied cap, include the earlier order reference so the team can establish the correspondence without guessing from the name.
The cap product page gives photographs and application references for individual models. Those application references describe cap discussions, not the complete range of carton materials supplied by Shengli Pak.
What should be agreed before a trial?
Ask the technical team to confirm the proposed cap and material references, sample quantity, applicator arrangement and checks required by the factory. Record opening behaviour, reclosing and other agreed observations using the applicable procedures. Dimensions, operating settings and pass/fail limits must come from the approved specifications for the actual combination.

No. Confirm the exact model, material opening and equipment arrangement. A shared number or similar appearance does not prove compatibility.
